“Manny & Olga’s Pizza to
compete in the 2007 Northeast Pizza Challenge”
Silver Spring, Md – June 4, 2007 –Manny & Olga’s Pizza will
be competing along with 39 other pizzerias at this years 2007
Northeast Pizza Challenge for a chance to be named Best Pizza in the
Northeast. The winner of this year’s contest will compete in the
second International Pizza Challenge™ at International Pizza Expo®.
In early April 2008, the best pizzaioli in the world will return to
Las Vegas to compete against the Winner of the 2007 Northeast Pizza
Challenge winner. The event will be held on September 12 - 13, 2007
at the Atlantic City Convention Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Representing Manny & Olga’s will be co-owner of the Georgetown
location Ioannis Fragkiadakis. The pizza entered in the contest will
be The Big FatGreek Pizza. Fragkiadakis said “I think we a have a
winner, It’s our best seller.” The Big Fat Greek Pizza is made with
Fresh dough made at the store, Fresh packed tomato sauce, Grande
Cheddar blend cheese, Fresh sliced Tomatoes, Kalamata Back Olives,
Feta Cheese, Cooked Lamb and Beef,Onions and Fresh Spinach.Manny and
Olga's is a franchised restaurant system that offers a wide variety
of menu items including pizza, hot and cold subs, salads, house
specialty dinners and so much more. Manny and Olga's has stores in
Georgetown, Rockville, Silver Spring, and Bethesda, 14th Street in
